RE: Pockett door off track stuck in wall
YouTube search shows lots of options for 'pocket door won't close' and sa few when you add 'rv' to the search as well. Here's one that might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1Etphj3LSo&ab_channel=AaronSRose

RE: Factory Tours
We went to jayco, and Winn in IA. A bit canned but good to see where the quality comes from (or not).
Regardless, those folks with hard.
Plenty of hotels around, and I think you can boondock at the museum.

RE: In praise of my awesome Indie mechanic...
That's great, and thanks for a nice write up. I know some of the folks here use rvservicereviews.com and I've found it helpful as well. Perhaps a positive review there, or at Google-?

RE: Air Deflector Van + Cargo Trailer Fuel Improvement
Most long haul trucks have skirts now, and I always wonder if those little air deflectors work on RVs like the website says they do.
Regardless, ~$1200 gas savings each way is worth a couple hours of labor, hundred bucks of wood and some!.looks. Thanks for sharing

RE: What the heck?……..
Removed the (15 yr old) 13" tube TV when we bought and haven't missed a screen. When it rains, we may sit around a laptop / hotspot/ YouTube but we usually have more desert and chit chat. As for cell service after they're asleep, that's a different story! ??

RE: First Trip through Canada & into Alaska - Many Questions!
Those are nice questions, and unfortunately I don't have any answers.
We went in 2019 with a 31-ft C Class and pulled a Honda Accord on a tow dolly. No issues other than a crack in the windshield that insurance took care of, and a couple tires.
I hear the roads have gotten better since then but your best bet is to take it nice and slow so that your suspension and tires take less of a beating.
British Columbia deserves just as much time as Alaska does, and we enjoyed the whole 10,000 miles to and from Chicago.
There are plenty of gas stations and amenities of all kinds, and perhaps the most eye opening thing is that there are all kinds of people going to alaska. Bicycles, motorcycles, small cars, minivans, small RVs, Big A's, etc. Her worry we had, they were doing the same thing and we all made it.
Have a great trip!

RE: New awning fabric for our coach...
Thanks Cap'n! Always enjoy your updates.
I'm familiar with Tough Top but not Shade Pro - anyone have other providers to look into?
Is this an install that's easy to DIY?
Not that ~$500 installed is bad at all, I just didn't realize we had options.. so now I'm more curious :-)
